Early morning
I was in my chamber with Nakul and my brothers, I was losing my mind, I don't know what to do, what kind of a husband will I be if I am unable to save her now, I failed as her lover, Parth was very angry, nakul was quiet, Shivansh had lost it, we looked at the door as we heard the door opening, I saw mama Shri entering in
He came and stood infront of me and said "I want my daughter's swayamvar to go smoothly without any problem, Don't you dare create any problems, my daughter was about to die because of you"
"Or may be because of your selfishness" parth whispered, he glared at parth and then looked at me again
"Do not come near my daughter again, but I want you to be present in swayamvar, too watch her get married to a good man, not someone like you, you are just like your dad, I'll make you watch her get married to a good man"
"We'll see" I said, he then left
"Jyesht let's just go home" Shivansh said holding my hand
"No, I want to see her, let's go"
"Jyesht you don't have to do this" parth said
"No parth, I have a felling that I should be there, let's go" then we left for swayamwar, I didn't know why but I had a feeling that something will happen
As we entered the swayamwar the announcement was made "yuvraj of Vidarbha, rajkumar nakul and yuvraj of prathapgad, rajkumar devansh along with Rajkumar parth and Rajkumar Shivansh are entering the swayamwar" then we sat in our alloted places, many dancers were dancing, the palace was decorated very well, many kings were present.
"Yuvaraj of panchgani Rajkumar Trivikram Is entering the swayamwar"
"Bhai saa you know, I had heard that he is a very cruel man, he has a very bad image everywhere, it is said that he had burnt someone alive" Shivansh said
"Shut up Shivansh, is that really important now?"parth said
"The king and queen of vidharbh, Maharaja abhiraj, maharani koustubha along with rajkumari nimisha are entering the swayamwar"
They entered the swayamwar, my knuckles turned white by seeing nimisha walking with the help of Anika and few maids, all the eyes were on her, I felt helpless, after few minutes she looked at me, my face was blank, then she looked away immediately, after sometime nimisha was given a flower garland and asked to put the garland to the man she wants to get married
She was walking towards them, I looked down, I really couldn't do anything, I couldn't protect her, what should I do, what am I even doing, I looked up when I heard whispers and saw that the garland was on the ground, she turned around, everyone stood up including me, suddenly she ran towards my direction and she struggling to run, it was visible, my feet felt like it was stuck to the ground.
She was just a few steps away from me, she stopped running, she was about to fall, I ran towards her and held her
"Nimisha, nimisha what happened, try to open your eyes, look at me, I am right here"I said tapping her cheeks
"Take me out of here please, I do not want to marry anyone other than you, I don't want this swayamwar"and then she blanked out.
"What is this maharaja, have you called us here to insult us, what is your daughter doing, this is our insult, what are you all doing" rajkumar Trivikram said in a loud voice
"Rajkumar is right, this is so insulting" one more king said
"Is that what you all are concerned about right know, don't start a drama here for your advantage rajkumar, or else you will have to face my army, anyone who has a problem can face me" I said in a angry tone, everybody there got quite.
"Devansh, what have you done to my daughter that she has become like this, you and your family ruined my daughter's life" he paused and continued
"you will all pay for the disrespect, ranisa I don't want to see her here again" he said
"You are a selfish man, you ruined her life for your revenge, I was quite because I wanted to marry her in a proper way with everyone accepting it, I didn't want to hurt you because I know she wouldn't want it, I didn't want to break my mothers heart and i thought you would never hurt your daughter, I respected you always, but I was wrong you only care about yourself" he then left
I took her in my arms and said "nakul, we'll be Leaving to prathapgad now, and I'll be taking nimisha with me, I'll inform you if there is anything"
"Devansh please take care of her, we have hurt her a lot, she doesn't deserve all this,and take Anika with you,she might need her"nakul said
"Sure, You do not have to worry about Nimisha I'll take care of her, we'll leave now"I said and left the hall
Outside a palanquin, horses, maids and some soldiers were waiting for us, I made nimisha to sleep in the palaquin and anika Sat next to her, all four of us sat on our respective horses and we started our journey back to Pratapgad, now I was feeling a little relaxed and was tensed at the same time about what Maa's gonna say after seeing nimisha with me.
It was noon already, we stoped at a place to have our lunch, I went near the palaquin to check wheather nimisha was awake or not, she was still unconscious, I tried to wake her up but she didn't wake up, I went back and let her rest for a little while and I went to complete my lunch with my brothers, after sometime we again started.
I was constantly checking on nimisha, she was still sleeping.
Many thoughts were rushing in my mind and in no time it was night, we halted in a place which was very beautiful all the maids and servents began to set the tents, parth and shivansh were discussing something, Dhanveer was in his own world, I was looking at the stars which was very beautiful with different colours and then suddenly a maid ran towards me and said,
"Yuvraj, Rajkumari as woke up and is continuously calling your name" she said
As soon as she said that I rushed towards the palanquin which she was sleeping in, she looked so tired, she was breathing heavily, anika was trying to calm her down, she was trying to give her water but she refused to drink and was continuously calling my name, I ran towards her and I took her out of the palanquin and held her in my arms and I went to a tent which was already prepared for her, she was shivering insanely, I made her lay on the bed and covered her with a blanket, and made her drink water.
"Where am I? What's happening to me?" She asked me and started crying while shivering,
"Don't worry nimisha I'm with you, I'm taking you with me to Pratapgad, stop crying don't be afraid I'm with you" I said while hugging her and caressing her hair.
Her body temperature had raised, she was not able to move an inch, I got scared seeing her terrible situation, she was wearing very heavy clothes with jewelry, it seemed so uncomfortable, so, I called anika and said.
"Please change her heavy clothes to a simple and warm clothes anika, she has high fever and tell any maid to bring a cotton cloth dipped with cold water" I said
"Ji" she replied
"Don't leave me"she said holding my kurta
"I'll be outside nimisha so that you can wear something more comfortable, okay?"and then I continued
"I'll be back once you are done" she nodded and left me and I went out of the tent.
There I saw some maids preparing food, I called one of them and said to make something light and healthy for nimsiha, she nodded her head and left me alone.
After sometime parth, Shivansh and dhanveer came in a hurry,
"What happened jyesht, Is bhabhi ok?" Parth asked ,
"How is she?"shivansh asked,
"Where is she now?"dhanveer asked,
"Calm down guys, she is fine, I have instructed some maids and anika to take care of her, you don't have to worry"
I said,
"The dinner is prepared yuvaraj"a servent said while bending a little,
"Ok we'll be coming there soon, you may leave now" I said
"Parth, shivansh and dhanveer we need to leave early in the morning tomorrow we need to reach Pratapgad before noon , did u get it?" I asked
"Yes, jyesht" they all together replied,
And I sent them to have dinner and asked a maid to bring my dinner to nimisha's tent.
I went to the tent where nimisha had stayed, I saw that nimsiha was laying on the bed and anika had changed her clothes and had kept a cotton cloth on her forehead.
They two were talking and I went inside, as soon as I went in anika got up from her seat,
"that's ok sit anika" I said.
"No no , you guys talk I'll check wheather the food is ready for Nimisha or not" she said and left.
I saw nimsiha, even she was looking at me, she looked so tired,
"are you ok now nimisha?" I asked and sat next to her holding her hand.
"Yes" she replied and continued
"how did u manage to bring me out of there, in front of so many people?" She asked ,
"Forget it, I'm so relieved now, I was so scared that I might loose you, I'm very lucky" I said, and she smiled.
She was so beautiful that I couldn't stop seeing her , I held her hands and kissed her fingers, she looked away blushing.
I bent near her face to kiss her cheeks but then anika came in.
"Ohh I'm really sorry, I'm so dumb I should've asked permission before coming in, I'm really sorry" She blabbered continuously, she kept our food plate on a table and went out immediately before we could say something.
Me and nimisha laughed at the way she got nervous and ran out of the tent,
I took the cotton cloth from her forehead and I made her to sit and, made her rest her back on the pillow behind her, I took the plate and started feeding her after few spoons she said that she was full and I forcefully made her eat the full plate and gave her some water to drink.
"Did you eat?"she asked
"I'll eat now" I said she nodded
"You should eat now" she said, I took the plate and started eating, after finishing I asked
"will you sleep now?"
"No, rajkumar, I just had my dinner I can't sleep now" she replied, I nodded
I helped her lie down and then I dipped the clothe in water and put it on her forehead again and repeated it a few times
"I am fine now rajkumar"
"No you are not, you still have fever" after sometime I asked take the clothe of her forehead
"Now do you feel better nimisha?" I asked
"Yes, better" she replied
I smiled and asked
"You should go sleep now"she said
"No I'll stay here what if you will need something" I asked
"I'll not need anything, if I need anything I'll ask someone you should go rest" she replied
"But.."
"You should go, you also need rest" she said and I nodded
"Good night nimisha"
"Good night" I left after giving her a light peck on her cheeks.
